We have quite a few ideas and issues we are addressing for 2010. We are keeping things a bit quiet right now because we don't want to bring you news that may not be relevant in a month or so. We are indeed looking at other conventions to also host this fan panel at...but time, money and demand will be deciding factors for our team. We do need some time to get our minds back in order and to finish up this website and charity auction side of things as well.

Undecided I know things are hectic for you guys and I think I speak for all avatardz when I say you guys are appreciated in every aspect of this fanbase. Not many people can carry such a load. Curious, exactly how many people are on the team?

hope all is well to you all,

Here is the list of people currently doing their thing for ALC.

As for who comes out for the panels, it depends who has the time.  But as long as Kevin and I can make it, its all taken care of Smiley Our team is THAT in tune with each other. Kinda cool...kinda scary. We are at the point where we finish each other's sentences. LOL!!

This fandom deserves continued support even though the series is over. Kevin and I have been planning on doing events etc for almost 2 years now. It took a long time to work out all the details and define what direction we wanted to go. We have lists and lists of ideas for each event, but we are ALWAYS open to hear more. The Haiku Slam slam fizzled out, but that's because it was not the right event for it. We are hoping that this forum will attract some interest and we will find the right event to host the Haiku Slam later. For instance, many fans in California say they would love a chance to Slam.

Like I told my team, its like we are parents to this panel. So we will do our best to take very good care of it and help it grow to best suit the needs of the fans that spend their precious time with us Smiley

Thats more than you asked....sorry.

Is there going to be a list of events or conventions the Fan Panel is thinking of going to?
I really want to see it at next year's Anime Expo in LA.

Hello!

Right now we are trying to confirm our presence at Chicago's C2E2. We will definitely look into AX and a few other conventions, but we need to poll the fans that attend the conventions we are interested in. All of this is out of our pockets, we are not sponsored in any way shape or form, so we need to feel our trips will be met with many fans who will enjoy what we have to share Smiley

We have a desire to submit a panel to Anime Expo for next Summer. We love the large Avatar presence there, so we will keep you updated Smiley As for Anime North, it will happen too close to our panel in Chicago at C2E2. Economy is icky, so we need to make sure we are super smart about our fun travels Smiley If things change though, I'll let you know. I love Toronto though, I would love an excuse to head up that way again Smiley
