As many of you know, in June it was announced that Nickelodeon discontinued Nick Magazine and Nick Jr. Magazine. For fans of comics geared towards a younger crowd, this is a great disappointment, especially Avatar the Last Airbender fans. There are still so many comics that were created for upcoming issues that we will not see here in the U.S.A. For those of you that collected the issues just for the Avatar comics, hold on to them, especially the special Avatar editions.

At this moment, I am not sure what the future is for the remaining unpublished comics. I am hoping somehow ALL the Avatar comics created for Nick Magazine will find their way into a published collection for fans to enjoy.

It is a shame...   At least a few of the older comics are available on the Nick Mag website!

I only have that last issue....the last Avatar issue that is....the one with Bumi and Toph going at it. I need to collect the back issues.
